Roll down machine is used to reduce the thickness of the plastic film by passing the film through the two rollers, and gap between the rollers is controlled, to get the desired film thickness.
The major parts of the machine are detailed below:
A powder brake with Auto Tension Control is used to for controlled let off of the film.
The film is passed through hot oil bath and taken through pressure rollers to reduce the thickness of the material. Temperature controllers are provided to maintain the oil temperature
NIP rollers are driven with the help of geared motor and Frequency Controlled AC drive system
AC drive driven rewinder is used for winding the material
Load Cells are used at Unwind and Rewind Stations for accurate tension setting
Safety Chucks are used at unwind and rewind stands for easy roll loading and unloading
Fabricated sturdy machine frame to avoid any vibrations
Edge Guide for maintaining edge at the rewind station
Control Panel housing all electricals and Electronics along with operator control station
Roll Down Machine : Two Stage
The concept of single stage Roll Down Machine is extended further by adding one more Press Station in line so that, lower thickness is achieved in single pass of the material.
Each Stage is driven by Independent geared motor and frequency controlled drive
Between two stages, load cell is provided for tension feedback and for proper control
Hydraulic Cylinders with Power Pack for easy lifting and lowering of the Nip rollers
